This is the exact RIG made on screen during the 3rd video tutorial. This includes the latest shoulder RIG and is much easier to pose than the 1st Sample RIG.
There is still quite a bit to go with the development of the ‘perfect’ humanoid RIG, some of which is obvious at this point, some of which has yet to be uncovered
- this one is definitly a good step in the right direction.

Hi - I have made a rig for a lion, using your IKBooster tutorials, and would like to share with this site. I am not sure how to send it to you? One question I have is this, often when i make a rig and everything looks great but then i select all bone make them active and apply deformations the bones separate from the mesh. The only solution I have been able to use to fix this is to move my mesh in modler and then it works. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks a million - Sounds great
I don’t have a proper facility setup for sharing yet, but you can send it to ’share AT ikboost’ for now… I will upload it here and then give it a more suitable home later.
Your problem sounds strange…. I havn’t had that problem where moving the mesh in Modeler is a solution. Could you send a file that shows the problem? Also, before you ‘rest’ the Bones, make sure sure are on Frame 0 and that both the Root Bone and Model have been ‘Reset’ in their XYZ.

First off, great content. No disrespect to our American comrades but nice to hear a soft Irish voice on a LW vid tutorial!
I have just started getting into IKBoost so your work has been a great intro. I downloaded your rig and found (for me anyway) that fixing the ankle and shoulder controls made it a lot easier to use.
Thanks again!

November 27th, 2007, at 2:19 pm #Hi Great work this site helps so much. I have the same problem as Adam. When I load the Ned character into modler the rig and Ned are facing the opposite directions and the rig does not over lap with the character. In layout your rig works great. But when I try to use your rig with a new cahacter I have the same results as Adam. Should I move and rotate the rig or the character and will this help? Adam how did you fix the problem? Thank You Brian
